Black Garlic is created by roasting regular garlic bulbs, and nothing else, under specific heat and humidity conditions over several weeks. The "fermentation" process turns the cloves black and gives them a soft, chewy texture while developing deep, complex flavors. It is ready to use as is. It can be eaten whole, sliced into dishes, mashed into a paste, or blended into sauces and marinades. It's best added toward the end of cooking to preserve it's flavor and it works beautifully in dressings, spreads, or even as a garnish on pizzas and roasted veggies!
